Solvachem Sp.Z.o.o’s business relationship with ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Limited (EMAPPL), has led to the expansion of our operations. On February 4th, 2026, the first ship carrying US-origin isobutane purchased by solvachem Sp. z o.o. arrived at the port of Wilhelmshaven. The whole volume will be finally sold to Elkom-Gaz Z. Sobieralski sp. k., which will purify and refine the gas. After processing, the product will be available to end customers. EMAPPL’s gas supplies will replace sanctioned Russian-origin gas, The signing of the first contract with EMAPPL was possible thanks to constructive negotiations led by CEO Elisabeth Luerenbaum and specialist Waldemar Chromiec. But we don’t intend to stop at this initial transaction.

On 11th December 2025, the European Chemical Industry Forum ECIF 2025 took place in Warsaw at the Ministry of Development and Technology, under the theme “From Chemistry to Security.” The event was organized by Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry (PIPC) and Ministry of Development and Technology.
This is a new event in the calendar of the European chemical industry, planning as a recurring event.

The meeting was devoted to the most important challenges and development directions of the chemical sector. Topics discussed included: “Chemistry under pressure – competitiveness, safety, resilience,” “Regulations and the chemical industry,” and “Industrial and energy transformation – EU goals and the industry’s real opportunities.” Participants included representatives of the chemical sector and industry organizations, government officials, including Members of the European Parliament, Polish Government Ministers, Regional Ministers from Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, as well as Commissioners and General Directors of the European Commission. solvachem Sp. z o.o. was represented by CEO Elisabeth Lürenbaum and Grzegorz Gibek.

The EPCA 59th Annual Meeting in Berlin is behind us. It’s a event for everyone involved in the petrochemical industry and trade.

It was an intense time, with many meetings and discussions about the current situation and future business plans.

On June 12-13, 2025, the IMPCA (International Methanol Producers and Consumers Association) conference took place in Rotterdam, attended by President Elisabeth Lurenbaum and Jarosław Włodarczyk – Director of the Methanol Business Unit. It was an excellent time to talk about the market, exchange views and meet with long-term business partners. Our company has been operating on the methanol market for years and has an established position both in Poland and abroad.

The 12th edition of the Polish Chemistry Congress – the most important and largest chemical industry event in Poland and Central Europe organized by the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry (PIPC) – took place in Krakow (Fabryczna 13 Conference Center) on May 29-30, 2025.
The two-day meeting was an excellent opportunity to discuss the current situation of the chemical industry with hundreds of representatives of business, public administration, science, as well as experts from industry organisations.
This year’s edition of the Polish Chemistry Congress takes place at a special time – during Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the motto “Security, Europe!”. At the same time, changes on the American political scene bring new challenges that Europe – including the chemical industry – must prepare for and respond to accordingly.

On 12-13 June 2025 we will be present at the IMPCA 2025 Mini Conference, which this year is being organised in Rotterdam .
IMPCA is the International Methanol Producers and Consumers Association, which is a non-profit organisation representing all participants in the global methanol industry, of which SOLVACHEM has been a member for many years.
Participation in this event is a great opportunity to discuss, exchange experiences, and meet the best people in the methanol industry.
