Aerosol gases

Aerosol gases, foaming gases, refrigerants

  • Propane - an organic chemical compound from the alkane group, a colorless and odorless gas. It has a higher density than air. Used in aerosol mixtures to increase pressure.
  • N-butane - an organic chemical compound from the saturated hydrocarbon group, used in aerosol mixtures as a gas to lower pressure.
  • Isobutane - used in the petrochemical industry in alkylation processes, forming branched saturated hydrocarbons used as high-octane gasoline additives. It is also used as a propellant gas in aerosol containers, such as in hair sprays, and as a refrigerant labeled R600a, for example, in refrigerators. Additionally, it is used for polyethylene foaming.
  • Dimethyl ether (DME) - a colorless gas with a characteristic odor, moderately soluble in water. It has numerous applications in the chemical, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. It is also used as a substitute for natural gas in gas stoves due to its physical properties being similar to propane-butane.
  • Aerosol gas mixture - odorless gas mixtures of propane-n-butane-isobutane, used in industry.

Refrigerants

Refrigerant R32 / Chemical Name: Difluoromethane

A homogeneous refrigerant. Liquefied gas under pressure. Primarily used as a component in HFC blends. Recently, it has been utilized as an excellent and efficient refrigerant in new-generation residential and commercial air conditioning systems with low GWP. It is classified in group A2L (low flammability). Usage:
Primarily for AC systems specifically designed for this refrigerant, due to its high working pressure, requiring appropriate structural solutions.

Refrigerants

Refrigerant R600a / Chemical Name: Isobutane (C₄H₁₀).

Liquefied gas under pressure. Purity classes: 1.8 (98%), 2.5 (99.5%), and 3.0 (99.9%). Flammable and explosive gas. It belongs to the saturated hydrocarbons (HC) group. It is a homogeneous refrigerant, matching the operating parameters of synthetic refrigerants such as R12 and R134a. Used in refrigeration for medium and high temperatures, in industrial refrigeration systems, commercial refrigeration in small installations, and more widely in refrigerators. Usage:
Refrigerant designed for refrigeration systems specifically constructed for this type of refrigerant.

Refrigerants

Refrigerant R290 / Chemical Name: Propane (C₃H₈)

Liquefied gas under pressure. Purity class: 2.5 (99.5%). Flammable and explosive gas. It belongs to the saturated hydrocarbons (HC) group. It is a homogeneous refrigerant matching the operating parameters of synthetic refrigerants such as R22, R404A, and R507. Used in low- and medium-temperature refrigeration, in large industrial refrigeration systems, and in commercial refrigeration, including small refrigeration systems in stores. Usage:
Refrigerant designed for refrigeration systems specifically constructed for this type of refrigerant.
